![]() After a lot of head scratching I noticed that The unified driver that I downloaded from Samsung had an installation file called autorun, so I clicked on it. I then checked the jobs and noticed the printer had been stopped. ![]() When I did a Print Test Page, nothing happened. CUPS actually recognised the correct Samsung model that was connected to the PC running lupu-500. Firstly I just installed the ML-1660spl.ppd manually into CUPS. This is what /var/log/ cups/access_ log says: When I try to add the printer using the GUI, I come to the point that I selected the ip-adress and port, then select the printer, press forward, add name and location, press Apply and the GUI closes and no printer is added I still can ping that server, but cannot print anymore. I used to print on this printer throught lpd://192.
